A Very, Very Basic Azerothian Timeline

After Xannder’s lovely RP post, I can’t say that I have anything nearly as creative to add, so today I will stick to out-of-character RP resources. One of the things that comes in handy when deciding how to create your character is knowing the timeline. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve run into a blood elf who claims to have been born “after the fall of Silvermoon.” This is wonderful from the epic storyline angle, but when elves aren’t even considered adults until they’re almost 100 years old and it’s only been seven or eight years tops since the Scourge ate everything in Quel’thalas…it just doesn’t work. I might even roll my eyes at it, but since I no longer have any I suppose that’s not going to happen.
